Question:How was it permissible for Abel (Habil) and Cain (Qabil) to marry their sisters?
Answer:In the name of Allah, it is not authentically established that Abel or Cain married. However, there is a narration indicating such a marriage after the killing of Abel and Cain, and Adam had other children. Allah has forbidden marriage to the sister, but if necessity demands, He can permit it for a brother. It is known that many things were previously permissible and later forbidden in the law of the Prophet (PBUH&HF), and the Qur’an indicates this. Allah is the Guide and Knower.
Question:Was Aaron (Harun) an infallible messenger during the time of his brother’s mission, or did he become so after the death of Moses?
Answer:In the name of Allah, be advised, my son, that every prophet, every messenger, and every Imam is infallible from birth until they join the highest companion (i.e., death). It is known that Aaron (Harun) died before Moses (peace be upon them), and that Aaron was not a messenger but only a prophet. Infallibility applies equally to prophets, messengers, and Imams. Allah knows best.
Question:Are the children of Adam the descendants of the killer or the victim?
Answer:In the name of Allah, be advised, my son, that one of Adam’s sons, Qabil (Cain), killed his brother Habil (Abel) and fled. There is no authentic chain confirming that Qabil had descendants. After this tragedy, Allah blessed Adam (PBUH) with two other sons, Sheeth (Seth) and Yafith (Japheth), and from them came the children of Adam. Allah knows best.
Question:If the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH&HF) is infallible, then why was he told, "May Allah forgive you, why did you allow them?"
Answer:In the name of Allah, forgiveness here means overlooking or pardoning something. The Prophet (PBUH&HF), due to his compassion and noble character, permitted some Muslims not to participate in jihad, which was part of his kindness towards people. Allah, by the noble verse, clarified to the Prophet that those he permitted did not deserve such compassion. This did not constitute a sin or error on the Prophet’s part, so forgiveness does not contradict infallibility. Allah knows best.
Question:In the verse (And Ibrahim instructed his sons), is the instruction of the Prophet (PBUH) a command or just an advice?
Answer:In the name of Allah, in this context, it is both advice and a command, because the end of the noble verse says, "O my sons, indeed Allah has chosen for you the religion, so do not die except while you are Muslims." Allah is the All-knowing.
Question:If Prophet Adam was blessed with two sons, Sheeth and Yafeth, from where did the two women who married them come?
Answer:In the name of Allah, there are two narrations in our reliable books concerning this matter. One states that Allah sent two women from paradise, each married one, and progeny was produced. The second states that Adam (PBUH) was blessed with two sons and two daughters, and it was permissible for a brother to marry his sister according to Adam's (PBUH) law. Allah knows best.
Question:The Prophet (PBUH&HF) says, "I judge among you based on evidence and oaths." Does this imply restriction, that he does not act based on his knowledge but only on evidence and oaths? Or can the Prophet (PBUH and HF) act based on both evidence and oaths and his knowledge?
Answer:In the name of Allah, in the realm of the rights of Allah's servants, it's permissible for a ruler to judge based on their knowledge. However, the narration referring to the Prophet's statement indicates a different aspect, hinted at in the narrative's conclusion. It signifies that whoever is given something based on evidence or oath and is not deserving, they consume a piece of Hellfire. The ruler judges with knowledge in the absence of evidence and oaths regarding the rights of 's servants. Reflection upon the narration is encouraged. Allah knows best; He is the Guide.
Question:“Send with us the Children of Israel.” Why was the supplication of Prophet Moses limited to the Children of Israel and not for humanity in general?
Answer:In the name of Allah, they were the ones who were Muslims, while the rest were followers of Pharaoh, affirming his divinity. Only the Children of Israel were oppressed under Pharaoh's authority. Allah knows best; He is the Guide.
Question:Was Prophet Moses' intervention based on legal grounds when he found two men fighting, one from his people and the other from his enemy, or was the unintentional killing he committed considered a crime?
Answer:In the name of Allah, Pharaoh's man was deserving of death because he was a polytheist who worshiped Pharaoh. Allah says, "Kill the polytheists wherever you find them." However, Moses (PBUH) was angry at the Pharaoh's man for his oppression against the believer, yet Moses was compelled. Therefore, Moses (PBUH) did not commit a sin; rather, this happened before his victory over Pharaoh and his followers, and he was compelled to act. Allah is the Guide.
Question:What was the tree in Paradise that Allah commanded Adam (PBUH) not to approach? Was it forbidden?
Answer:In the name of Allah, the narrations vary regarding this matter. Some indicate it was wheat, while others suggest it was the tree of knowledge specifically designated for Muhammad and his family (PBUT). Expressing that elevated status in knowledge through the tree is metaphorical, and eating from the tree symbolizes the desire to attain that knowledge, as mentioned in some narrations. Allah knows best.
