Question:Why must the female fast while she is younger than the male although he is more capable than her?
Answer:In the name of Allah, this is a worshipping ruling. Be informed, my son, that Allah puts much less obligations on women, especially the difficult ones. Moreover, females reach maturity faster than males such that males become mature after the legitimate age. Allah knows best.
Question:I am travelling for pilgrimage (Ziarat) during the month of Ramadhan. My question is whether I can fast while residing in Iraq or Iran.
Answer:In the name of Allah, the traveler is not allowed to fast unless he intends to reside for ten days or more in one city. My son, your fast is void without intending Iqama and you have to fast the days you have missed after Ramadhan and before the coming of the next month of Ramadhan. Allah knows best.
Question:In Ramadhan, a fasting person traveled before the high noon (Al-Zawal) and reaches his destination after the high noon, where he intended Iqama (residing) for ten days. In place of residence, does he have to intend Imsak (refraining from eating and drinking) or is he permitted to break his fast?
Answer:In the name of Allah, in this case, he does not have to refrain from eating or drinking (Imsak) in the place of new residence, but he as to fast this day again as Qadha fast after the month of Ramadhan. However, he has to fast the other days where he resides. Allah knows best.
Question:If I traveled after the noon, and my intention was to ravel since the previous night at 8 pm. What is the ruling of my fasting in this case?
Answer:In the name of Allah, you must keep on fasting if you have crossed the permitted distance after the high noon. Allah knows best.
Question:A fasting person travels and reaches his destination before the high noon (Al-Zawal). Then, he intends to stay there for ten days (Iqama). On the travelling day, first: does he have to do Imsak (not eating up to maghrib prayers) in case he breaks his fast on the way? And second: in case he does not break his fast, can he intend to complete his fasting day?
Answer:In the name of Allah, if he has not broken his fast in the way, then he has to intend fasting this day and to complete it. Allah knows best.
Question:If the traveler in the month of Ramadhan returns from his travel and was still fasting and before reaching the limits of his hometown, the noon prayers come, in this place, first: Is it permissible for him to break his fast? Secondly, he wants to pray, should he pray in Qasr or not?
Answer:In the name of Allah, If he does not enter the place where there are the houses of his hometown and even the houses of a neighborhood, his fasting is void for that day and he prays there Qasr. Allah knows best.
