The representative of the office of the Grand Religious Authority Sheikh Bashir Al-Najafy (may Allah prolong his life)) in Basra Province participated in a mourning gathering held by the Iranian Consulate in honor of the souls of the martyrs among the leaders and scholars who were martyred as a result of the Israeli aggression against the Islamic Republic.

During the gathering, Sayyid Muhammad Al-Jabiri stated that this event was held in loyalty to the blood of the martyrs who fell defending the truth. He emphasized that the leaders and scholars who were targeted were symbols of resistance and steadfastness, and that the brutal aggression against them constitutes a blatant violation of all international laws and conventions.

Al-Jabiri added that the participation of the representative of the religious authority in this gathering is an expression of solidarity with the brethren in the Islamic Republic, and a condemnation of the continuous Zionist aggression targeting Muslims and violating the sanctity of their countries without conscience or respect for any principle of international law.

In conclusion of his speech, Sayyid Al-Jabiri offered his condolences on this painful occasion, praying that Almighty Allah protect Muslims from the evil and schemes of their enemies, and safeguard the lands and the people from all harm.
