During his speech, His Eminence Sheikh Ali Al-Najafi highlighted the greatness of the Prophet's auspicious birth, reviewing its historical and doctrinal dimensions for the Islamic Ummah. He noted that historical accounts confirm that followers of divine religions were awaiting this blessed birth based on well-established glad tidings passed down through their scriptures. He emphasized that the auspicious birth marked the beginning of a new era for all humanity, as it represented the seal of divine prophethoods and revelations, stressing that the true Islamic faith arrived with its final message, fully encompassing all requirements of human life.

Confronting Intellectual Challenges

His Eminence pointed out that Muslims today are engaged in a major intellectual and media war led by international organizations and institutions aiming to impose their own visions. He explained that these entities seek to alter intellectual identity and doctrinal convictions through various means—chiefly social media platforms—alongside sponsoring projects that outwardly raise glittering humanitarian slogans, yet carry suspicious agendas aimed at stripping society of its authentic values and foundational principles upon which its faith structure was built.

Targeting Youth and Sanctities

The Director of the Central Office warned of the expanding scope of this intellectual conflict, which manifests through spreading doubts and deviant ideas to destabilize belief among the public in general and youth in particular. He explained that these systematic campaigns target collective consciousness and attempt to sever younger generations from their religious heritage. This necessitates comprehensive intellectual and popular vigilance to stand against these threatening plans and work to safeguard minds from media disinformation daily creeping through open cyberspace.

The Role of Family and Upbringing

His Eminence Sheikh Ali Al-Najafi concluded his address by affirming that the core of upbringing and reform begins primarily within the family and parents. He urged the necessity of monitoring children and the content they consume on social media platforms, while strengthening their religious, national, and moral identity.

He stressed that strengthening relationships with children and building bridges of dialogue within the family represent the ideal solution for raising a conscious generation that adheres to its identity and possesses the steadfastness and wisdom required to face contemporary intellectual challenges.
