Question:If I have five years' worth of missed prayers to make up, do I need to hasten and prioritize making them up by interrupting my daily work, or is it permissible to perform them during free time?
Answer:In the name of Allah, if there is no fear of death before you complete what is required of you in terms of missed prayers or fasts, then it is recommended to hasten their performance. However, if you are afraid of death, then it is obligatory to hasten. Allah knows best.
Question:For someone who has years of missed prayers to make up, is it permissible to perform 100 Fajr (dawn) prayers at once, followed by 100 Dhuhr (noon) prayers, and so on?
Answer:In the name of Allah, the prescribed order must be observed. Dhuhr must precede Asr, Asr must follow Dhuhr, Maghrib must precede Isha, and Isha must follow Maghrib. It is important to maintain the required order between the daily prayers. Allah knows best.
Question:Allah guided a person at twenty years old, and he began to pray and fast. What is the ruling regarding the prayers and fasts he missed since reaching puberty? The fasting along with the expiations is quite substantial; what should he do?
Answer:In the name of Allah, he must make up for the missed prayers and fasts. The expiation is also required, and if there is a delay, the delayed penance must be paid. He should try to fulfill the expiations gradually and include in his will anything that remains as a liability. Allah knows best.
