Question:What is the meaning of (worshippers) in the second [tashahud] salutation of prayer? Who are the believers in the third salutation of the prayer? Are they the living or the dead, or both?
Answer:In the name of Allah, the worshippers include all the prophets, messengers, imams (PBUT) and others. The third salutation is, as what we have decided, that if the person praying alone, it is to salute the two angels on his right and left, and if he is in a congregation prayer, it is to salute angels and those who pray with him in the congregation. Allah knows best.
Question:In the tasleem in prayers, is the phrase "assalamu alaina wa ala ibadillah assaliheen" recommended or obligatory without voiding the prayer?
Answer:In the name of Allah, be informed, my son, the first tasleem "assalamu alaik ya ayiuha alnabi wa rahmatullah wa barakatuh" is recommended and do not void the prayer. As for the second tasleem " assalamu alaina wa ala Ibadillah assaliheen", it is the obligatory one with which prayers are completed. The third tasleem "assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh" is recommended. Allah knows best.
