Question:I had an accident in my car because of the front tire, and I was carrying passengers who were not hurt except for a little girl of (14) months who was pushed out of the car with her mother who was sitting in front. We took the girl to the hospital, but she did not live. She died. Her family accepted the situation and told me to go, they did not want anything from me. However, I want to know what my responsibility in this case is?

Answer:In the name of Allah, if the accident was your fault, then your relatives represented by the wise men must pay the blood money. If it was your negligence, then you afford the blood money with repentance from the negligence and penance. Allah knows best.
