Question:In the slaughterhouse of municipality, we found them using electric shocks to paralyze the cows and camels which leads to weak blood flow or stoppage in it. They sometimes break their legs so they fall to the ground, and then they slaughter and flay them. On the one hand, these two methods cause the animal to be tortured before slaughtering it, and on the other hand, blood or some of it may remain inside the carcass. What is the ruling of this sacrifice in such a case?
Answer:In the name of Allah, if we know that the aforementioned action prevents some blood from coming out according to the natural movement of the animal and the blood, then it is not permissible to eat this carcass until after the blood has come out according to its natural movement from the carcass. Regarding the second action (breaking their legs), though it is not to be done, it does not cause the impermissibility of the carcass. However, if camel's legs are broken without slaughtering, it causes the camel to be forbidden. Allah knows best.
