Question:If we see a Muslim slaughtering an animal incorrectly or not reciting the necessary invocation (tasmiyah), do we judge the permissibility of their other slaughters?
Answer:In the name of Allah, we judge the permissibility of their other slaughters. Allah knows best.
Question:It is said that some non-edible animals can be properly slaughtered. What is the general criterion for these animals?
Answer:In the name of Allah, if they are not considered impure (najis), the mentioned rulings apply to them. Allah knows best.
Question:Does difficulty in slaughtering, which permits slaughtering, apply to the person attempting the slaughter, or to people in general? If a person cannot slaughter it but could seek help from neighbors or others, what is the ruling?
Answer:In the name of Allah, the difficulty permitting alternative methods applies to the person attempting the slaughter. If they can seek help, it is preferable. Allah knows best.
Question:I live in Canada. As far as I know, animals here are slaughtered by striking the head of the animal with a device similar to a gun until it loses consciousness, and then the slaughter process takes place. The reason for this is to show kindness to the animal. This method, striking the head to render it unconscious before slaughter, does not lead to immediate death. Is it permissible to eat such meat? Is it considered halal, or is it similar to unlawfully slaughtered animal?
Answer:In the name of Allah, if the purpose is to easily subdue the animal and experts have confirmed that the animal is still alive after being slaughtered, and there is reassurance in that, then the meat of the slaughtered animal is permissible. Allah knows best.
Question:What is the ruling of the blood found in the rest of the carcass after slaughtering?
Answer:In the name of Allah, if the blood comes out conventionally in the conventional amount, then the remaining blood is pure. Allah knows best.
