The representative of His Eminence, Grand Ayatollah, the Religious Authority, Sheikh Badhir Al-Najafy (may Allah prolong his life), and the director of his central office in Najaf al-Ashraf, His Eminence Sheikh Ali al-Najafi (may his support endure), received a delegation of sheikhs and notables from the clans of Sinjar district in Nineveh province.

During the meeting, His Eminence Sheikh al-Najafi welcomed the visiting delegation, stressing that Najaf al-Ashraf and the house of the religious Marja'iyya have been and continue to be a home for all Iraqis, and that the doors of the Marja'iyya are open to all sons of the nation without discrimination. He emphasized that the supreme religious Marja'iyya represents a strong fortress for Iraq's unity and a pillar for preserving the dignity of its people.

His Eminence indicated that the people of Sinjar and other provinces form an integral part of the national fabric, and that respecting all components and safeguarding their rights is a religious and national duty. He added that the Marja'iyya views all Iraqis with a paternal eye and care, and seeks to protect them from anything that threatens their security and stability.

His Eminence also called on young people to be diligent and strive in seeking knowledge and work, serving the homeland, and preserving religious and cultural identity, stressing that adherence to authentic values and the pursuit of construction and knowledge is the path to Iraq's renaissance and stability.

For their part, the members of the visiting delegation expressed their thanks and gratitude to His Eminence Sheikh al-Najafi for the warm reception and his paternal care, praising the role of the supreme Marja'iyya in unifying the national ranks and its keenness to care for all the people of Iraq without exception.
