Najaf – His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Al-Najafy (May Allah prolong his life) led the funeral prayer for the late scholar Sayyed Mohammad Ali Al-Shirazi (May His Soul Be Sanctified) at the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali (PBUH).

The prayer was attended by scholars, seminary dignitaries, and believers. His Eminence supplicated to the Almighty to grant the deceased a place alongside his pure ancestors (Peace Be Upon Them) and extended his condolences to the late scholar’s students and family.

Following the funeral prayer, His Eminence (may Allah prolong his life) visited the sacred resting place of Imam Ali (PBUH) and recited Surat Al-Fatiha at the graves of prominent scholars and Islamic figures buried within the shrine’s precincts.
