His Eminence the Grand Ayatollah  Sheikh Bashir Al-Najafy (may Allah prolong his life) stated during welcoming a delegation of Lebanese citizens, who came to perform the pilgrimage to the holy shrines in Iraq and meet with him, that the enemies of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) have, throughout history, made various attempts to prevent the visitors from reaching their pure Imams and seeking blessings from visiting them. However, at all times, these crowds continue to flock and honor the visitation of these holy shrines, rendering the enemies' plots in vain.

His Eminence the Grand Ayatollah  Sheikh Bashir Al-Najafy (may Allah prolong his life) also stated that a sign of an accepted pilgrimage is a positive transformation in an individual’s behavior and conduct after performing the visit to the holy shrines.
