The office of Grand Ayatollah the Religious Authority Sheikh Bashir Al-Najafy (may Allah prolong his life) delegated many esteemed scholars to join the mourners walking along the roads leading to Karbala. They stopped at several stations to provide religious guidance and advice during this million-strong march that believers commemorate every year on the 20th of Safar, the anniversary of the Arbaeen of the Master of Martyrs (peace be upon him).

In several statements, they emphasized following the path of the Ahlulbait (peace be upon them) and the message that the Master of Martyrs sought to convey through his blessed uprising, which he nourished with his pure blood, highlighting  the significance of the Husseini march, which reflects the strong unity among believers, united by the path of the Master of the Free.

This path embodies the highest values brought by the pure religion, including tolerance, solidarity, peaceful coexistence, mutual support, patience, love, brotherhood, and calling to Allah alone.

Furthermore, they stressed the importance of performing all acts of service, walking, and visitation solely for the sake of Allah to earn His pleasure and mercy, inspired by the eternal legacy of the martyred Imam, remaining steadfast in the faith, and drawing closer to Allah. They also emphasized that this visitation and the steps taken by the believers towards Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) should lead to positive changes in behavior, actions, and interactions with others in society.
