As he does every year, the prominent religious authority, Grand Ayatollah Sheikh Basheer Hussain Al-Najafy (may Allah prolong his life), joined the millions of pilgrims heading towards the holy city of Karbala along the Ya Hussain path (peace be upon him)

Grand Ayatollah Sheikh Basheer Hussain Al-Najafy (may Allah prolong his life) continued his annual pilgrimage on foot alongside many professors and students from the seminary in Najaf.

This pilgrimage is an act of devotion to Allah Almighty, a gesture of solidarity with the Prophet (peace be upon him) and his pure and noble household (peace be upon them), and a reaffirmation of the significance and importance of this sacred journey.

Grand Ayatollah Sheikh Basheer Hussain Al-Najafy (may Allah prolong his life) prayed to Allah to accept the believers' pilgrimage and their closeness to Him and to grant success to all those working to ensure the success of this blessed pilgrimage.
