The delegation of the Office of Grand Ayatollah the Religious Authority Sheikh Bashir Al-Najafy (may Allah prolong his life) in Diwaniyah/Mhanawiya District/Al-Taqwa Media Foundation for Islamic Culture sponsored several intellectual lectures on reviving the Ashura uprising in a series titled: "The Spiritual Ranks of Hussaini Rituals."

During these research lectures, Sayyid Hassan Al-Yasiri spoke about the Hussaini uprising, highlighting its vital elements that gave it the power to create and influence as the righteous and impactful force in the processes of influence. This necessity came to restore the nation’s consciousness, instill confidence in its members, and reform what can be reformed, to be the nucleus on which future reform processes are based according to the constants of Sharia, with values derived from heaven, which is what the Imam (peace be upon him) meant by his saying and what I want except for reform.

Al-Yasiri continued, saying: "The Hussaini reform came adorned with faith, complementing the Prophetic path and preserving the principles of Wilayah, to protect the people and the country from the dark tribulations that strike people from time to time, robbing them of the blessing of guidance and distancing them from their true religion ordained by God to save them from the darkness of ignorance and the swamps of immorality to the light of guidance and the straight path."

On his part, Al-Yasiri expressed his deep condolences for this tragedy to the position of Imam Al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his reappearance), to the great scholars of the nation in Najaf, and to the Islamic nation.
