Question:In prostration, is it necessary for the forehead to touch the Turba (piece of soil) 100%, or is any part of the forehead sufficient to touch the soil?
Answer:In the name of Allah, the middle part of the forehead must touch what is valid to prostrate on but not the sides of the forehead. Allah knows best.
Question:What is opinion of your Excellency regarding the carpets on which a picture of the Holy Kaaba or one of the domes of the Imams (PBUT) are drawn? What is the ruling of sitting on them?
Answer:In the name of Allah, if it does not indicate an offence in the culture in which these carpets are used, it is permissible in regards to what you asked. If it is considered as an offence ( which differs from one culture to another), it is not permissible. Allah knows best.
Question:Is there a problem with placing two turbas on top of each other and prostrating on them during prayer? In case there is a problem, is there a difference whether the turba is endowed or owned by the worshiper?
Answer:In the name of Allah, it is permissible in two conditions: First: The height of the two turbas in not more than four fingers altogether. Second: this act does not prevent other worshippers to pray in the mosque or shrine, like there are no enough turbas for them. Allah knows best.
